How does the audio input on the Unite 200 work, does it have a microphone built-in ?
The Unite 200 does NOT have a microphone. The line level audio input on the front of the camera is embedded into the video that is streamed from the camera through the LAN port. This audio can't be utilized over the USB or HDMI outputs.
How does the audio input on the Unite 150 work, does it have a microphone built-in ?
The Unite 150 does NOT have a microphone. The line level input on the front of the camera is passed through to the computer and can be chosen as an audio input option on the computer.
Can I use the Unite 50 on a USB extender ?
The Unite 50 is powered over the USB cable and has been tested and does work with our 10m and 30m Fiber USB 3.0 cables as long as those are getting sufficient power.
The Unite 50 will not pan or tilt.
The Unite 50 is ePTZ so you need to zoom in before you can digitally pan and tilt the view.
Does the Unite 50 have a microphone ?
Yes, the Unite 50 built-in microphone array that has omni-directional pickup, the pickup distance is up to 12 meters, and it has a noise suppressing algorithm for excellent sound.
How can we reset the network settings on the Unite 200 camera ?
Press * # {Manual] on the remote to reset the camera to the factory settings. Note: to use this shortcut, press the buttons in that order, not at the same time. The "Manual" button is in the bottom right corner of the Unite camera remote.
In Unite 200 camera,is it possible to use the USB output and the HDMI out at the same time ?
Yes, it is possible to use both at the same time. You can actually stream at the same time too....

After my Unite camera powers up it points straight ahead, how can I make it aim somewhere else after booting ?
Aim and zoom the camera where you would like it set as a default and store that as preset "0". About 15 seconds after powering up, the camera will automatically restore preset "0".

With the Unite 200 camera the audio input is only used for streaming video on the LAN, the audio is not carried through to the USB or HDMI output.
Can you provide drivers for my ClearOne Unite camera ?
ClearOne does not provide drivers for our cameras, they use standard windows and IOS drivers. Please make sure all Windows / IOS updates are complete, and you may also need driver updates from the PC manufacturer.
Will the Unite cameras work on USB 2.0 ?
The Unite 150 and 200 cameras will work on USB 2.0 but the video quality will be reduced as USB 2.0 only has about 10% of the bandwidth of USB 3.0 With our testing the best video quality we saw with USB 2.0 was 720P30, but you may see lower quality ...
