Why is the far end still hearing echo if my AEC reference is set correctly?
The
AEC reference being set to the correct output channel is only one important
factor in eliminating echo. There are two other factors that are important to
acknowledge when tackling Acoustic Echo. 1. Optimizing Gain Structure 2. The
Acoustics of the Room. This article will focus on Optimizing Gain Structure.
In order for the AEC to work efficiently it is important to have a unity gain
throughout the Converge Pro 2 system. This ensures that the sample being
taken at the AEC Reference point accurately matches what is being picked up
